Yum, yum, yum with an extra side of YUM!! Perfect spot for colder weather and you're just craving a good batch of warm soup with all the toppings! Once you enter, you order at the desk and pay before you pick your seat and the food is brought to your table. My only con with this was the woman taking our order didn't seem to be the post patient to work with, but that's fine. Plenty of seating, with booths, seats, high chairs, and outdoor seating. I ordered the Build Your Own, with a Spicy Miso broth base, thick noodles, chashu pork, corn, marinated egg and inari. My mom ordered the same but with a tonkatsu base. Another con would be the charging of the toppings, which if you're like me and enjoy a ton of toppings, your bowl would be on the pricier side so I opted to pick what I wanted most. Spicy miso broth was super rich in all the right places, savory, the noodles had the perfect amount of bite in it! I've had better/more tender chashu pork, but it got the job done! We also ordered some chashu tacos which were also super yummy! Came in 3 and just the perfect small bites to get the meal going!

First time trying Ramen Hayashi and it was filling. Kind of bummed I was too full to finish my food. The passion fruit lemonade was really good (just a tad too sugary). My date didn't drink their tea and we ended up sharing the lemonade. The spicy edamame was good, but the staff didn't bring it out before the main dish. I think this place would've been better as a full service restaurant vs the fast food type of feel.

I gave it a few visits before I wanted to give a review as I had mix feelings. Realistically I would give it about 3.5/5 as I wished the broth was more rich in flavor consider the price point. We tried the spicy oxtail miso ramen which was like $23 and it didn't quite meet expectation and I also ordered the tonkantsu ramen and other than the veggies and cha shu was decent but the noodles and broth wasn't all that I expect it to be. Kids did like the masubi (2 pieces per order) and chicken karange which came in a good amount. Service was ok but on a Friday night the line was long due to only one taking orders. But it's clean with plenty of seating and located by shopping and movie theater so it's convenient.

Theee Vegetable Spring Rolls!!! so hot and fresh every single time. The chicken bowl is sooo good and the fried rice tastes great. I love the vibe, it feels so cafe cozy, you always see people doing work/studying lol. The service is great and I adore the patio. It will definitely continue to be a regular spot for me and my family.

I've had this place before i wasn't a fan before but I'm glad I gave this another shot. Tonkatsu: my bf loved his ramen, it's rich but not too heavy. I'm glad you can customize it, he added dumplings to it and it was his favorite part. (5/5) Spicy oxtail ramen: if you love pho this is similar. I loved this. I don't really like ramen noodles but they offer udon noodles now and I'm a BIG fan. I love udon noodles. There's more of a bite. They give a lot of meat in the ramen. Flavor was good. (5/5) Takoyaki: this is our favorite, even before I retried the ramen I've gotten the takoyaki alone. I'd just order this and nothing else. It's soft and creamy. Such a good flavor (5/5) Chasu taco: This is good but not my favorite. I'd probably not get this again, but I know others would like this. Flavor is good. It's wonton shell, deep fried. Nice crunch. Definitely needs to be eaten right away. I don't know. It's missing something. The meat needs a bit more flavor. But honestly for the price this is a good deal. They give a lot in these tacos. It just wasn't my favorite. (3/5) Overall, I'm so so so glad they added udon noodles. I really hope they don't get rid of it. It's the best thing they could've done. If you're not a fan of ramen noodles, try udon. It's thicker. Has more of a bite. I'd definitely come back again. Highly recommend. My new favorite.

This is a really, really great little ramen spot with a good happy hour located in the new El Paseo shopping center. The ramen here is top knotch; they have lots of options (including build-your-own), the broth is rich and flavorful, and the noodles are perfectly cooked. Their sides are great too, as is their beer selection (and the pours are LARGE). There's both a large patio and a comfortable indoor dining area. The happy hour is worth getting here early for, especially if you want to have a beer or two. Service is fast and friendly. The movie theatre is close by, so this is a perfect place to grab a meal or just a drink and a snack before or after a movie.

Healthy servings, flavor-packed broths, and friendly and attentive staff here. Visited Hayashi with a group of relatives on a busy Sunday night and we ordered a few different types of ramen: tonkatsu, spicy miso, and spicy oxtail. Each came in a large bowl filled to the brim with broth and fillings. The tonkatsu broth was rich and smooth, and the "medium spice" level was perfect for me - enough kick to add to the meal's flavor without that burning sensation. Others who had the miso and oxtail enjoyed theirs as well, and everyone raved about the tenderness and flavor of the chicken chasu. The soft boiled eggs were also a hit, seriously delicious. I would definitely come back for my next ramen craving!

Ramen Hayashi is such a great spot. Pay at the counter, pick your seating food spot. There is ample seating both inside and outside, quick service-- food is delicious. Since the weather is getting cooler I got the Tonkotsu Ramen! What a great choice, the broth is so delicious.

Yummy ramen spot in Fresno. Service was very quick and wasn't too busy on a weekday evening. You order at the front kiosk and then they bring your food to you. We were in & out in less than an hour. To eat we opted for the classic Tonkotsu Ramen which seemed to be their most popular item. Broth was flavorful and VERY rich (perhaps a little too rich for me?), but I overall enjoyed my bowl. They also have a surprisingly large menu for being more of a fast casual restaurant. Seating is plentiful and restaurant is very clean.

I've already reviewed this place and gave it a 5 last time, but the 5 is definitely solidified after my most recent visit! Came here with a party of 11 (a server's worst nightmare probably) for Sunday dinner and was so worried that the workers would be overwhelmed because we all ordered on one tab! However, the ordering process was super simple and though we all ordered 11 separate bowls of ramen + some appetizers, they all came out in a very timely manner! It didn't take as long as I was expecting!!! I think everybody in our party left super satisfied. This place is super clean, tons of seating, and the food is good. Hands down the best ramen here is their spicy miso ramen or their tonkatsu ramen! We also got spicy garlic edamame for the table and that HIT!
